This is my plan so far.
Nitro Daves N/O Plate kit with hard lines.
3 gal cell, Walbro pump and aeromotive regulator all braided lines mounted in the trunk.
N/O dig progressive controller
N/O ash try panel.
N/O Lt1 specific micro switch.
N/O blow down NHRA fitting.
N/O purge kit.
NANO
n20 filter
hex wing adapter kit
n20 pressure gauge
HSW trans hump N20 bottle bracket.
and some NGK BR7es gapped at .35.
Already have a MSD Digital 6 igintion
hex wing adapter
pressure gauge
Sound good??? Any other suggestions???????

What is the NANO? I didn't see a bottle heater in the list .

Nitrogen Assisted Nitrous Oxide
Also you don't need a bottle heater with a NANO set up.

Its better. Dont need a bottle heater and you dont loose bottle pressure untill the bottle is empty. Also no wires :) I hate wiring.

Thats pretty cool. I never ran a bottle heater at the track but did on the dyno.

Can't use the controller for the shootout
I know. Wont be used if I run PA. If I do Ill run the bottle out of the gate off the micro switch .
By the time the shootout happens I should have the suspension sorted out. So I hope it wll hook.
I also have to disconnect the 2 step :(

I don't think you need the progressive. I think unless your in a class limited race they are over rated. If your trying to leave with a big shoot it might be a plus just not sure if you going that crazy.
Who was it that said nitrous was cheap? From your list it looks like you got every thing up there that you need.

I plan on 200 shot or better. Im getting the progressive since Im, not sure how the M6 will like that out of the hole, plus it has a built in window switch to kill the spray during shifts. Imagine how bad things could get missing a gear at 7k on a 200 shot

My guess is the controller is to help him hook the M6 more than the size of the shot. Looks like a good setup for a non-shootout car. lol

Im buying it for the rest of the season, has nothing to do wit the shootout. Not sure that I will run in the PA class yet, and if I do Ill just pull the 2 step and controller, spray it out of the hole and hope for the best. lol besides if I did run ES PA the car will prob have a 700r4 in it for the event.

I watched a LS1 with a 6 speed leave on a 150 shot and drag radials many times. the sixty was soft but it would run out the back of the track.

Thats what I did in my old formula but this car is almost as fast NA plus the spray. Its not that expensive so ill pick it up regaurdless. BTW winter sucks.

Put the spray on it and step up bro!

Only things I have left to order is the Nano and controller. Oh then I need some gauges too. Still thinking of how I want to mount them. Any pics of your gauges?
Thanks to Larry @ Speedinc and Nitro Daves and HSW, should be a killer system!

Here is my stuff. Nothing special really. Fuel pressure and nitrous pressure in the a-pillar. Digital AFR (for lean shutdown) over the HVAC controls. You may want to consider a lean and rich down of some sort.

Im thinking dual A-pillar pod, and ditch the stereo since I never use it and make up something like yours. You just reminded me that I really should get a shift light too.

I made the gauge panel in a way that bolts in using the stereo mounting points.

Aluminum. Don't remember what gauge. Between 1/16"-1/8 thick, I think.

That looks really nice Chris!! Whats the big space under your stereo? I dont think I have that. I can lose the stereo but need the heat. lol

glad to help Mike
I would use your hvac vents to place gauges and we have nice billet adaptors for the 2 1/16 gauges.

Don't forget to check your N2O tune up (jetting). The NANO system will change the fuel requirments for a given horsepower setting. There is a good artical about this on their website.

I ordered the Nano today, should be here next week, and i know about the fuel adjustments already.
Cant wait for the stuff to arrive!!

I would run a BR7EF plug over the TR7 if you're doing a 200+ shot.

Do some reading on yellow bullet. I've gotten a lot of good advice there.
The BR7EF is non projected tip and moves it out of the flame front. They run fine on the street n/a as well. No cold start or fouling issued.
It'd just an extra safety margin so I figure why wouldn't I do it.

Looking good Mike. Any leads on where to get Nano bottles refilled around our area? Nitrous refillers seem to be dwindling around our area as well.

Thanks, theres a scuba place in arlington that can do it and I think any Dicks sporting goods can also fill them. I got a place in schaumberg to fill the nitrous. i still want to pick up a spare NANO bottle and N20 bottle.

i second gregrob on plug choice.
sounds like a nice system you've put together... i'm old school still running a heater. Can't afford 500 bucks for that NANO system :(

It would be if the system ever shows up. Been on BO for over 2 months now:( Anyways I was having a smoke outside work and theres a scuba shop not even 50yrds away. Filling the Nano wont be a problem.

Can't afford 500 bucks for that NANO system.
Depending on how much you spray (and what bottle valve you have), the NANO 3000 Universal Kit can be picked up for just a tick under 300.

BTW the 700r4 is fine if you want to keep overdrive.....just depends on who builds it....ask me how I know :D

Time for an update!! Everything is installed, and I have BR7efs for plugs. I will be running the T56 at the shootout but I did buy a built th350 ill put in after. Heres some pics of the kit all finished up except the blow down tube(should be here today or tomorrow. BTW this was not the 4hr install my last dry kit was. It took me weeks working a couple hours a night on it after work to finish it up. Im going on vacation and when I get back ill take the car up to Speedinc for some dyno tuning then off to the track for some testing. Anyways on to the pics.
