installing sending units for autometer gauges

this is what they look like for the water and oil gauges.i have no clue how i should install them or how to wire them up and help is appreciated

The water one should thread into the block (drivers side) or you can splice the wiring into the factory plug. As far as the oil gauge, my neighbor did a mechanical gauge and there was a port at the rear of the drivers side on the engine block he tapped into. If its an electrical one once again the factory sender is on the drivers side behind the intake (at least on my camaro it is) and just splice the wiring.

so how exactly would i wire it from the factory senders....do i just cut them from the plug and put the two wires in a butt splice ?
