VHT. It's a spray paint.

Or, the best way is to have a painter mix clear and black, and spray the lights just like he would a car. It'll turn out as glossy as a normal finish, and you can wax it.
It won't fade or become flat.

you also may want to think about only nightshading the red portion, and leaving your reverse lights uncoated. I think it looks good and gives you more light.
i'll post up pics of mine when photobucket will let me log back in (tried using the wrong username too many times)

If you are going to VHT your lenses please use a clear coat over it...it really looks like crap if you don't imo.

I use to have AVS cover but for some reason they just kept blowing off, once they crack I just went ahead and VHT them.

I had my rear covers since 00 when I bought the car and never had them come off, my front turn and fog covers I never had a problem with eather, but the front fog covers I used screwes to hold the L brackets to the bumper cover instead of the double sided tape, but the covers themselves are still held on by velcro.

You guys are saying you can clear it more, or simply didn't clear in the first place etc... but here's why I said to just get a painter to thin down some black.
These were painted by one of the locals in my truck club... he will be getting mine when I have the spare change (running truck is more important than a pretty truck IMO). Not sure what he would charge... but I can tell you it would be under $100 (I would say less... but I'm highballing).... don't know what other shops would normally charge. More than $5-$15... but honestly... it's worth the difference IMO.
His truck.. yeah... he went darker than most people want.

Seeing tails like this are why I won't bother messing with the spray can stuff. BUT... I've never seen the spray can stuff in person either... and I know some people take the required steps to get it like glass. Hopefully I can get some pics of tails that aren't done so dark... cause I don't need another reason to get pulled over.:jest:
