trans am vs trans am gt

hey guys just wondering what the diffrence is between the two i know they only made the gt in 94 and im trying to figure out if my car is a gt or not.

in 94 the gt option, came with the high rise spoiler. in 95-02 they came standard on T/A

Tire speed rating, speed limiter, spoiler, articulating headrests, I think thats about it. I have had 2 94's (1 GT and 1 NON GT) and these are the differences between the 2 otherwise everything else is the same

ok so i have a trans am gt, i dont think i have ever seen a regular 94 trans am with a low rise spoiler.

My non-GT car came with gross salad shooter, molded spoiler, and a 115mph speedo. It has all of the other options that I know of.

I have since put a high rise on it and different wheels. I'll leave the 115mph speedo in there since I don't really care how fast I'm going over 90 especially on the street.

Pretty sure someone swapped salad shooters on it. IIRC only camaros came with shooters

Hey Harner, your home lift looks just like mine. LOL I had mine up on blocks one day when my wife came home and she just lowered her head and made some comment about living in a trailer. Helllla yeah babe!!

IIRC the GT included leather, the high rise spoiler, and probably other options like the 10 speaker stereo and Z rated tires.

it was technically 93 and 94 i believe but ALL 1993 trans am's were GT's and then the base model came out for 94. in 1995 the GT option was dropped and they just had the Trans Am model with options. My car would probably be a GT if it was a 94 (3:23 rear, Z rated tires, uplevel spoiler, leather, 10 speaker sound)

Mines a GT. It was special ordered by the original owner. The options it does NOT have are power seats, leather seats, t-tops, and ram air. I think thats all it doesn't have.

Don't forget GTs had the blued mirror glass in the side views. Mines a loaded GT only thing it didn't have was factory cd. It has 10 speaker w/steering wheel controls. I changed to the newer none monsoon factory deck and all is good.
Oh and I have 3.42 gears as per my RPO codes.

I replaced my ugly stocker rims with Chrome Zo6s as soon as I got it.
