2005 Honda Element lx 2wd 5spd. 72k miles.

They are all driven daily.. the DSG Cobra will be back as a DD once the engine is done bein built, and than the 96 will most likely be gutted and not used as a DD. The caddy is the grocery getter.

Ive put 42k on it so far (in 17 months) and only had to replace the timing belt. $48 bucks for the kit.

And a set of tires (125 for 4 through work)

So all in all.... its cheap as dirt transportation.

Insurance? Like 23 bucks a month haha.

It's a 1995 subaru legacy wagon FWD w/ 209k miles on it and had 176k in july of last year when i started that field tech job. i put 30k on it in the 11 months i worked there. its sat most of the summer as i've been driving the T/A most of the time (and i only put about 3k on it this whole summer too)

That gets my vote for best DD ever. G8 GT's are amazing... Awesome price, kick ass performance, and looks bad ass..

Mike @ New Era went like 13.5 with a tune and CAI.. Now hes got it running real low 12's with a converter, cam, and headers on it too.

A buddy of mine had one identical but it had the 5 speed tranny, same stance though. It had headers and crap but still didnt run worth a damn. And I think he got about 7 mpg haha. They definetely look baller though.

As much as I love that body style of trucks, I would've got a F-350 Powerstroke.

Trust me, I looked. And after weighing my options (when I bought the truck a year ago, and now for the most part), it was pay the same amount for a 43K mile one owner dually with everything done I already wanted done, or a 150K mile half beat hillbilly passaround Powerstroke. My first choice being a Duramax, but I guess I must have high standards, seeing as there was little to none in my price range.


Needless to say, the choice was pretty obvious for me. The truck tows EXTREMELY well (290HP 410ft/lb tq. stock and 4.10s out back), gets about 10 city, 13 highway with or without that big ass trailer, and they hold their resale value very, very well.


And yes, the truck is as clean in person as it is in those pictures!

the only problem with diesel is that where i live (Sioux Falls, SD) it gets quite cold here and i have to worry about my fuel gelling up :( so it's either start the truck up every hour or so (get hot diesel back through the return lines to the tank) or plug it in (tank heater, harder to get close to a plug in though)

nah, YZF, we farm and live extremely rural so we can get away with driving that on the road. 3 cylinder, 4 speed, right hand drive. It tops out about 65 mph, gets kinda scary around turns though.

02 F150 4.2 V6 M5: factory 3.55 gears, factory aluminum driveshaft, Hot Hues hot rod black paint, lightning grill, black lightning headlights, 3 inch lift up front, 17x9.5 helo maxx 6 wheels on 32 inch BFG's, tint, bolt ons. My daily right now. 91 GMC Sonoma ST 4x4. Got it for $100. Needed wheels, tires, brakes, and exhaust to get it road worthy. I'd say i got around $850 in it now.

What it looked like first day i got it. The GTA wheels i put on it so i could move it around.
