I was out with a couple of my buddies getting a bite to eat and well every1 kept talking about how my buddy eric with his cobra should line up me and my 1LE. Well after about 10 mins of them giving his shit he finally decided to do it. Hes got 4.10s, x pipe, some suspension done and on nitto DRs. He has nitrous but the bottle wasnt in the car. So we get on the highway since neither of us would get a good start from a dig since its freezing out. We go from a 40 roll. Im in 2nd as is he. Let him give the 3 honks. GO. I instantly pull on him and by 110 i had a good 6-7 cars on him. He laughed and said ya i knew that was gonna happen. All in good fun tho. After that he still calls my car Purple

Im pretty sure he just has a little cam a the usual bolt ons. And obiously the car weighs very little being a 1LE.

Honestly, not THAT much lighter. Especially the 94 or newer (maybe it was 95) that still came with a/c. That was the biggest weight reduction on them.

i dont have a/c or any option period in my 1LE. cc304 cam, 1.5 RRs, LTs, LM1, 4.10s, cai, 52mm tb r just the basic mods done. Other suspension shit done too

Yeah, then it was all F bodies incliding the 1LE's after 95 that still had A/C.
All the little things do add up to a weight difference between a loaded Z and a stripped 1LE, but its not as much a some seem to think.
