I've got $250 to spend and I wanted to do a little upgrading to my car and was looking at the UMI 3 point bolt in subframe connectors(which later on I'll have welded when I have more money). I'll get the UMI strut brace in a couple months to go along with it too. I noticed now that its colder out my ttops are rattling a little bit. Is this a good overall mod and will it make a noticeable difference in driveability and sturdiness?

I would say any suspension mod would be good but the subframe connectors might be the best first upgrade.

For you guys that have them, are they able to be bolted in without a lift?

Ya they can easily be bolted in without a lift. The only thing is that you need to load the suspension before you torque the bolts. It took me about an hour to put in my UMI 3 point bolt on ones but if you have someone else there to help you hold them it can be done in around 45 minutes.

Are the 3 points overkill for our cars? Personally I would buy the normal Weld-in Tubular SFC's and shock tower brace. They are both on sale now and can be had for $175ish. Don't remember how much my SFC install was but it can't be too much.
