I just got my car back for the third time for this stupid EVAP code p1441. and they drove it around, let it sit overnight, yada yada, and when i got it home i let it sit for about an hour and the light came right back on. WHAT WILL FIX THIS, its killing me, i do not want to take it back to the idiot mechanics its a 45 minute drive and its costing me so much fuel to get there and back constantly. I NEED A PICTURE of an LT1 Engine bay of the hoses and what not.
here are the picture of my engine and the hoses going to the throttle body, do you see any reversed hoses or anything unusual here??????

A P1441 means that the vacuum switch just behind the purge valve is signaling the computer that it see's a vacuum, when the purge valve is not commanded on. The most common causes are a bad purge valve, or a bad switch

well they replaced some cracked hoses and the purge solenoid. they said the hose going to the throttle body was cracked or something in that area.

ALSO, my gas cap tested good, but is it unusual to have a lot of presure built up when you open the gas cap to fill up for gas, i get a pretty good hiss when i open it up. i click it 3 times when re-tightening it.

it depends, how long you were driving it before you opened the cap and the weather conditions also

well i get some good pressure after i wait like 15 minutes when i open the gas cap back up..
i think im just going to go to the back of the car and blow out the two hoses and make sure there is no debris.

do i need to drop the tank in order to blow out the lines coming from the canister?

okay i blew some air through the line last night and a little black stuff came out of the line where the hose meets the charcoal canister. So i'm assuming i need a new charcoal canister.
I've been searching but cannot find a new charcoal canister, or how much they cost.

From time to time charcoal can make it's way up to the front. Just blow it out and see what happens.
