Any fitment issues with the longtubes and Y pipe?
I read somewhere that the oil cooler needed to be removed. I talked to Tony at Kooks and he said no and sent along the instructions. Nothing in there either. My car is a 93 and I heard the newer version of the oil cooler is a cheaper version?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Dunno, but I'm looking at Kooks for my 97, so I'll tag along in this thread.

I doubt you'll be able to keep any oil cooler with Kooks, much less any LT headers. My Kooks tuck up pretty close.

George from Kooks replied on one of the other sites and said that I will have to take off the oil cooler for them to fit on a 93. Least we know what needs to be done now!

I'm pretty sure this is the case for any stepped LT, Not sure if Pacesetters will work with the oil cooler.

LPP's design is VERY similar to Kooks. Yes, the oil cooler will need to be removed.
