Hi, I have a 95 Z28 and the first time I start it every morning it takes three or four tries of about 5 or 6 seconds crank time each before it fires?
After the first run of the day it almost always starts right up. Any ideas?

How does your fuel pressure look? Might be taking a long while to prime in the mornings, but that is an awful long cranking time for you not to have problems any other time of the day. I'd still check it though just to make sure its up to par. Sounds like a fuel issue to me.
If the fuel pressure is fine, start checking out the ignition and see if you can figure anything out there.
The FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator) could be bleeding off over night.
When you go out to start it in the morning, cycle the key on and off a couple times and see if it fires right up.
Also check the fuel pressure if you have access to a pressure gauge.
