When you getting it painted? Once you get that on, the weather is good (At risk of sounding like Russ) and I've got the car back home we should get a couple shots. It'd be cool two have to white LT1s with the different SS spoilers.

Bake the paint to get the sulfer out of it. If you dont bake it, it could take up to a year to cure and it would need a garage to keep moisture off of it.

Body work sucks.

Did you get it painted? I thought you were running the stock Z28 spoiler and going to have the SS spoiler painted?

I test fitted my LT1 SS Spoiler on my '94 Z then took it off and had it painted. Left it off for a couple weeks after painting it to let it cure then installed it. My painter buffed it out and whatnot.

Still looks good to this day ~3-4 years later (it's on my friends '94 Z now)

Besides My painter told me I'd have to wait a couple weeks before washing my car. Fuck that :jest:

But yes, I put the stock spoiler back on after the test fit.so why does it need to be baked? because it's already painted black? Aren't you going to sand it down and prime it?

Its been sanded and ready for primer. Same with the berger. But if you don't bake the paint in a booth, it will release sulfer as it cures. You can actually smell it if you sit the car out in the sun and let the paint heat up a little. If you cover a car (obviously with a car cover) the cover can cause sulfer pop from it not venting out. Its a difficult process, somewhat.
