Got this in an e-mail.. Happy Holidays!!
Fantastic. Greg sends along this DIY FYI:

"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever.Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."

It'd be better if they just pointed and laughed; "he's getting what he deserves, he was a sucky neighbor anyways" lol:laugh:

It does work, only if I am that "Dbag Neighbor". I try not to be though, but when people block your street 5-7 times a week, you would get a little annoyed.

But if they spite me there will be a pile of Lexus/BMWs/other overpriced crappers at the bottom of my hill (like there had been for YEARS before I started my business) when I stop being "that sucky neighbor" that plows the entire hill/street every year :D

Keep in mind its a dead end at the top of a HUGE hill that curves on the way up, and Ive pulled numerous 4x4/4 wheel drive/All wheel drive vehicles out of peoples yards that thought they could make it. Including that poor guys yard at the bottom of the hill (T intersection) that seems to be the deposit point for all the crappers at the bottom of the hill.

Its ok, when they start being douches it saves me time/diesel/$$$.... The hill doesnt need to be plowed for me to make it home and plow MY driveway :D

EDIT : STILL doing the hanging guy if possible!

That would be pretty funny.

Let me tell you, it was.

Still is too, when Im not there to solve it :D

Last year, there was a group of 5-8 cars at the bottom of the hill in one of the more decent storms waiting for either me or city plows. You could see the hill was all ripped up from them making runs at it and then failing.

lol
You should just drive up through one time and not plow it just to see if they say anything to you.

Now THATS a good idea, because ever since Ive had the plow I do the street.

Thatd be great if I just started ignoring the snow on my street and leaving :D

We will see how "comfortable" they are with this great service ;)
