I'm looking at the long bracket that comes from the rear axle and mounts to the tranny. I think that part may have taken a sh#t cause every now and then I get a nice little bump from my tranny area when my car shift gear. Don't think it's the tranny mounts cause those are from Energy Suspension but I haven't change the thing-a-ma-jig mount from the axle yet. You know the doohickey part? Yea the wutchamucallit!!:frustrated:

Torque arm? Yea I guess so. The long bracket attaching the rear axle to the tranny via a rubber mounting braket?? I kept drawing a blank!

Yup, torque arm. If you go to a solid mount aftermarket one... look around for people's opinions on getting a slap/thud at every shift. (just a heads up... some don't like it)

Yea that's what I'm currently expirencing right now and I don't car for it much. With all of the creaks the car makes, not to mention, the loud exhaust I don't need anymore noises. Thanks guys!:claps:

There is a part you can put behind your tranny that's more of a crossmemeber that bolts to the torque arm to. Don't know anyone who has one but I've been thinking aobut one but not sure yet?

There is a torque arm relocation bracket and a torque arm cross brace. They both allow you to take stress of the transmission tail shaft and put more power to the ground. The relocation bracket gives you way to quickly adjust the "instant center" which gives better wight transfer.
I've got a BMR torque arm and relocation bracket and they are superior pieces of equipment.

Here's a link through Thunder Racing. I've ordered a ton of stuff from the with no problems. Very good people there from my experiences.

Or you can order it directly from www.BMRFabrication.com (http://www.BMRFabrication.com)
Thunder is usually great to deal with, they just have a problem with not telling you when something is out of stock.
Been bit twice too many times on that one.
BMR makes great stuff, my '95 was 100% BMR suspension.
I've also had good luck with Spohn on my '93

I hated my crossmember relocated TA, Made tons of noise. If you dont like noise banging etc. get a stock length TA and relocation bracket.
