Unless you are logging 02 with MXscan...but I wouldn't bother with MXscan.

i bought 1 and had to send it back because it would not communicate with my pcm from what i have read this is a common problem. i dont recommend it i think its junk and there customer support is a joke dont waste your money !!!!!!!!!!

why wouldnt it communicate with the pcm?
It just wouldn't read it or what?
I never heard this problem come up.
What was wrong with the customer support?

Usually it won't communicate because the user doesn't setup up the comm ports properly.

i set up the comm port correctly on 4 different lap tops 2 with xp 1 of witch had a serial port 1 with vista and 1 with windows 7 it is just a p.o.s jet replaced it and i just got it back but i have not had time to deal with it yet to see if this one will work if u search the net u can see this is a common problem for them to fail out of the box

does anybody know if i can down load a tune off the internet that is close to what i have and tune from there ?
my buddy has an ls1 car and hp tunners and can down load tunes off their web site as a starting piont
and to all who talk shit about dst its the same as tunner cats they sold to jet so they must both suck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Jet is a ripoff. Buy a cable and download tunerpro rt.

I really dont want to convert to OBD1 either i just payed to tune my OBD2 PCM. I dont want to throw a $350 tune away to convert to OBD1.

I did. I use the obd2 tune for emissions and the OBd1 is for custom tuning so it's not exactly throwing it away.

Ok well if i can find an OBD1 PCM cheap then maybe i will consider it.
