EMERGENCY ADVICE: when broken down or stuck in your vehcile. Only allow the vehicle to idle for 10 minute incriments for heat. Be sure to leave window cracked to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.

yeah i figure that. my dad had that happen to him back in the mid 80s in a 4 door 82 buick regal. i think he was able to go to a nearby farm house and then got a ride home on a snowmobile. when we went to get the car out the next day the engine block was frozen. i think they had to take the car somewhere to let it thaw out before it would start.

Wow, he was ok though?

Luckily, before snow freezes it has "pillow soft" qualities :D

Of course, if your pillow was 30-32* ;)

yeah i don't think he hit the snowbank that hard, IIRC he said it was so windy and he was going pretty slow that the wind kind of pushed him off the road. i just remember him saying he was in the car for a few hours until people woke up (he left for work early in the morning and back then had to drive on 2 lane empty country roads down by remington indiana) and once it was light out he went to the nearest farmhouse. then later my sister's friend's dad drove up there on a snowmobile and brought him home. this was probably in 1984 or 1985, not any time recent, lol.
