I have the same problem that 95LT1Z28 (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?u=461) had with the sagging rear springs. Probably because my car mostly sat all its life before I bought it. I like how it looks low in the rear lol, but I know they are gonna get worse over time. So I'm thinking about getting some good quality springs to lower the front and rear because the front looks way too high. I love how the car rides now with stock springs and KYB AXG struts/shocks so I want a spring that wont be like rock solid stiff and ride like garbage over bumps because I live in Mass lol. I did some research and Strano's seem like the best bet for me! So post up some pics to finalize my decision... :D

i love my stranos,,even with my stockers and balloon tires,,BUT they are not the softest riding lowering springs you can buy,,but there probably the only ones that are actually meant to perform..my buddys bmr's on his 99 ss rides better than my stranos but they dont handle as good or have the killer stance the stranos do

Yeah they ride a little stiff? I just wonder how the clearance will be in the front with my 275's and 54mm offset....

only negative to them is the guy is kind've a jerk. my friend just bought an 99' WS6 and after a few months he has started hearing squeaks in his suspension, so after investigation he concludes that they are in fact strano stock replacements. he calls them up and the guy was a complete jerk to him. my buddy said its like unless you are spending money he wont answer any questions and he even went as far to say shocks dont squeak. but everyone on ls1tech definitely swares by them.

or for a cheap fix, I customized what other people were doing. My under standing is they remove the top rubber seat for the spring, and replace it with heater hose to get some drop.... I left the top seat in there and I put heater hose on the first coil on the bottom of the rear of my springgs, and with my lowering springs it gave me a nice rake.... prob will just level yours out....

+1 on Sam being a dick but if anybody has the right I guess it would be him, he knows his stuff.

I run Strano's and Koni 4/4 shocks, not the cheapest option out there but I learned years ago when I started modding that you get what you paid for as far as quality and function. Here are a few pics http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/album.php?albumid=12278

I went from bone stock 90K mile springs/shocks to this and was a dramatic difference. The car handles great and rides good for having lowering springs. From my understanding you need to run a good set of shocks with any lowering spring which will improve the ride.

So far every time I have spoken with Sam he was very helpful and answered all my questions. As far as Sam coming across like a dick I can't say I've had that problem. I've heard people call him and use his knowledge/experience to get the setup they want and turn around and purchase the parts from a different vendor, if that is the case I would be a dick sometimes as well.

I plan on getting a set of his hollow front/rear sway bars this spring to improve the cars handling more.

I have Sam's springs and sway bars. I haven't ever found him to be a dick. He knows his stuff and he's assertive when discussing it. He's helped me out with any questions I've had and he's designing the best new suspension products for our cars. So he gets my business. I have a lot of pictures in my fquick link below.
