View Full Version : firebird vs a 2007 mustang GT

I have a 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula completely stock, without any leather etc. It has the A4. My cousin's dad has a 2007 mustang GT, completely stock with borla mufflers and a 5 speed. What one do you think would win in the quarter mile?

my car only has 70k miles and the stang has 25k miles

If you got a full exhaust and some bolt ons you should have no problem beating up that stang.

is it normal for these cars to be able to chirp good through 2nd gear with traction control on and in the dry going up or downhill? cause i'm impressed with this car.

i dont know why but for some reason they made those 3v pretty nasty stock. they have a 8v advantage.lol

you might be closer than you think my car with a catback only has taken down many of the 3v mod motors. i lost too one with full exaust and a tune but i was only a car off his bumper.

I'm thinking a CAI, Catback and a gear would get him for sure.

Im going to say the mustang, install a few bolt-ons like mentioned, then you will beat him.
