Anyone in the NE do some plowing during that first storm we had? I was out checking accounts making sure I didnt have to call the others out, but just ended up taking a long ride in the end. Had the truck all ready, but nothing worth talking about came down.

Basically it must have been that "Are you ready?" storm we usually get at the beginning of each season, which ends up being small. Just enough to warrant mounting up the plow and calling people, but not enough to actually call people out/do anything.

Anyone else get any snow? Or was it all under 1-2"?

Yeah it seems like that storm got a pretty good chunk of the NE, but really didnt drop too much.

It went real good around midnight until 2am, but after that it had nothing. And by then, the only accum. was an inch or two.

I got about 4-5" in Orwigsburg. I couldn't believe it kept coming down. I was at my shop in town getting buzzed and working on my Iroc. It was a steamy 45* in my shop compared to the 30ish outside lol.

Yeah I heard everything from 1-3" to 5-8" for here.

It stayed in the 1-3" bracket, but for awhile there between 12-2am it looked like it could make the 5-8" bracket at the rate it was going. Sadly it was short lived, and fell flat on its face around 2"

Haha, yeah I hear that. At least I got to throw the plow on and fire the lights up for a little bit. Give it the ole' pre season run around to make sure everything is working alright.

Yeah, about the same here. Nothing plow or barely even shovel worthy. It was warm enough the next day that if you just let it sit most of it would have melted (and most did).

I plowed but not much. Shoveled and plowed around my house/ driveway Sunday morning then plowed the parking lot at my work before the day began :(

Come out here man, we just got 5-6"... The plows are out like crazy, this town is paranoid about keeping campus open. I think we've had one snow day since I've been here and I'm a Junior.

Thank god I have something else to drive besides my Camaro. :jest:

Nice, we just had another one today that did NOTHING again. Like .5" of slush. Fun.

When are they going to throw something I can plow?

Im thinking of starting another thread, this time a rant thread about all the wussy crap snow we have been getting :D

We've had about 2' of snow over the past week in Alberta, I was out for 3.5 hrs Saturday and did all the sidewalks for a couple blocks around me and about 4 of my neighbors driveways. Here's a pic of my old 197? Roper workhorse (the paint gives it at least an extra 5 hp lol)

Hell yeah on the duece and a half AND the hot rod mower....

BOTH would be an asset around here :D

They are already talking about a decent storm next week, and lucky for me I just finished installing my hideaway strobes on the truck (About 10 seconds ago). Ready to go!
