Guys, I'm going to do a pre-emptive post here. These aren't on my website yet, but I have a completed set sitting in my garage bound for my car. I can produce these at any time, so if you need a set let me know, and I can have them powdercoated too.

Initial Mock-up:

Coated for my motor:

These are NOT welded anywhere. Through some dutiful research and a little help I found and acquired the proper taps to effectively create a bolt together set of fuel rails set up for -8AN inlets and -6AN outlets for those that need a bigger fuel system. This setup does NOT require any mods to the manifold to fit, everything tucks right in.

The Catch?? If your LT1 is a 92-93, you need to convert to the 94+ manifold and rails.

I'm still working on solid pricing, but if you need a set soon email or PM me and we'll work something out.

This is a sweet idea, the other guys your competing against wont have a chance when your price is realisticly lower then theirs. Good luck Sean

Thanks man. The competing prices is what drove me to this in the first place. My pricing I'm looking at being around $100 for YOUR rails converted, and case by case basis for outright and core return sales. The main reason it's so costly is because the fittings are NOT cheap, the specific O-Rings I've found that work best are hard to come by and not cheap, and it takes time to set them up.

Options will be powdercoating in pretty much any color (pricing varies depending on color wanted) and will run $20-30.

As i've told ya, I'll be in for them next semester (February area) when I get some more money to buy a 94+ intake and some heads

And the black looks oh so good :-D

Oh and I forgot, are these still using the stock crossover pipe?

Would you mind explaining why this can be done with the 93 fual rails? Thanks

CAN'T be done with '93
and MUST have the crossover area, but do NOT use the stock crossover pipe.

He threaded AN fitting to the area where the stock crossover pipe would go. This allows you to feed BOTH rails from the back. At the front of the rails, the AN fittings go to braided lines which would lead to your FPR (probably a T between the two rails to balance).

The AN fittings point in towards eachother... which is why you need 94+ intake and rails. They sit in the "groove".

Once he posts some pics of them on an intake.. .you'll see. I've just been following it on another forum.

I'll plop them on my "stand queen" and get a couple of pics for you all today. Looking at things, I think there might be room for a custom crossover up there with a single return coming out of it if someone wanted one set up that way. I'll have to pick up a second set of rails to check and see.

Chevy.......were you watching this on SpeedDensity or somewhere else?

Looks nice man... How did you deal with the flat area on the inside of the rails?

If you're talking about internally, it's as it came. Didn't bore the rails out or anything. Externally they're stock too save for some tapping and removal of all stock pieces.

Yeah... I looked through a folder I have of custom fuel rails and saw some (not yours as these were welded in) setup similar to yours... and they have the fittings for two return lines pointed towards the back of the intake. I was wondering if I was putting words into your mouth with the comment on the crossover/balance tube. Hopefully not, just trying to answer the questions :D

Yup... SpeedDensity.

Not at all man, you're good.

There's a couple of ways to set these up depending on what you're running. I'm going to be running dual Whalbro's full time, so I'm going to come off each rail with a 90* fitting back to a boost referenced FPR, and then a single return back to the tank from the regulator.

You could T the lines to one into the regulator too if you're simply running a single pump or dual pumps with a boost switch for the second.

I could also set these up to run a series setup, I.E. -8 in one rail, stock crossover stays, and -8 or -6 out of the other rail for the return. Food for though. The way mine are built is for an all out type of setup. You can definitely go smaller and still have the nice stuff.

Thanks for the explanation, and yea I mean't to say "can't" but my keyboard tricked me. I'd like to see the installed pics too when they are available.

I'll put pics up tomorrow. I don't have lines or anything yet because the fuel system will probably be the last thing I do to my car. But I'll at least have mock up pics on my motor on the stand.

If I ever get to the point of needing something like this I will definitely hit you up! :)

you can do it to 93 rails but everything needs welded. I had done it to mine, doing the rails up cost me around 20 bucks in fittings and I paid a local shop 25 bucks to weld them on, I did all the work fitting everything on there. one of these days Im going to buy a Tig welded so I can do stuff like this I only have a mig right now.

The pics above are my personal rails set up for a dual return to an aftermarket FPR.

I can look at the space and see if an -an line can be fit in the crossover recess, but I doubt it.

I've seen Fastbirds rails in person, and trust me when I say, the pictures as sweet as they are, still don't do them justice. Yet again where Fastbird performance is making a top notched part, and killing all competitors pricing!

I'm in need of bigger lines and this looks very good! Any problems with leaks? How long is the turnaround time if I send you my rails?

No problems with leaks from the guys where I got the idea from, haven't put mine on the car yet. Turnaround without powdercoating is about a week (to allow ME the time to do them), with powdercoating is a few more days.

I won't need powdercoating, I like the polished look. I'll hit you up in a bit when i'm ready to go.
