how many people would be interested in getting their trans rebuilt? its pretty expensive for most people to do it but if i can get enough intrest im going to start small, become a sponsor on here, and try to do my best to hook yall up... the first price of rebuild will be donated to the site and the rest will go to sponsorship fees and creating my website, i love doing these transmissions and its very relaxing to be able to do something i know stuff about and i think is fun :) so i figured as long as i keep it a small, on the side, business i could offer you guys and any other people some great deals on labor and get some decent priced parts by my supplier. so if your serious PM me and i will get you some priced on the rebuilds just LMK whats going on with the trans in question and ill do my best to give you a guide to whats wrong with it. im pretty excited to start getting this on the ball because everyone in my family has a business of their own and the only one i have had my hands in is my dads, now is the time for me to do something i enjoy and make some $ on the side for donig so :D

also i will NOT be accepting anything before i buy into the sponsorship so dont even ask, all im here to do now is head up some pricing, and gauge some intrest :D

Jon, I would be interested. I know my trans has been beat on pretty hard (not just by me) and I have been debating what to do with it. I definately don't have money for a tranzilla or anything hardcore, but maybe some new sincros and heavy duty sliderers. Every now and again the trans will jump out of 3rd gear so I know something isn't right.

the warranty is kind of iffy, being that if you cant drive you can tear one up pretty quick lol however i can tell if it was abused or if it failed because of power output... basically it will be a limited liability warranty in which i will cover the labor and any parts worn out, abused and broken transmissions due to driver error will not be, the rebuilds im still looking at prices to do kits and so forth, there will be rebuild options like none other...lol and will range from stock to viper conversions :) anyone looking to do a viper conversion i am willing to do labor free the first time since i have not done one yet since none of us around here have had the need to do so.

i dont think the labor of the shops are fair, it really isnt a bad gearbox to mess with but if your a internet only business that isnt taxable by the state you live in then you really can cut costs :) and since no cash is exchanged there is no way in my state to tax labor so the only overhead i will have is parts/and my own time and tools. i talked to wooshie today about this stuff and i will be fair to you guys and try to get the ball rolling as soon as i get some people that seriously want to do this :) i hope to have prices up by sunday afternoon so be watching :)

ok about the warranty... i will ONLY warranty labor and the syncro rings, the assemblies of the syncros are hard parts and theres no way i would be able to warranty parts that dont get replaced... so basically if a syncro goes bad i will cover it but if its a whole assembly (rare) then it will be covered by you, i WILL however offer insurance and will work on writing up how and what will be covered for the extra fee... basically guys give me some input of what you want in a trans rebuilder and i will do my best to make yall happy and get you comfortable with using me as the rebuilder :D

Ok guys I will be trying to have a site up soon with ordering and pricing information, I'm still working on getting together some prices for the different levels of transmissions. Unlike others I will have the available upgrades and then a option for you to pick what actual options you would like, like new syncro assemblies or rebuilt, along with billet key upgrades for ever gear including 1-2, 3-4, 4-5 AND reverse the big hangup riht now is pricing for me on proshifted and faceplated parts. No to mention the gear treating processes. Still waiting on feedback from you guys also!
