i have an 01 trans am and its passing a code saying
secondary air controll bank 2...
What the hell is this.. I have been trying to get this problume solved for the last 2 yrs..

knock sensor code! I already posted this on ls1 tech.. they told me to take it to a shop... GM tech local here cant even tell me what the hell it is.. of corse palm auto mall, i would not take a dead ford to be worked on there.

It has been a while since I had an LS1 car, but IIRC it is either a faulty air pump or leaking vacuum line in the AIR/emissions system. If the AIR system has been removed, it needs to be tuned out so it doesn't throw a code. It could also be a faulty rear O2 sensor if it is sending a bad signal back to the PCM. Once again if the rear O2's have been removed they need to be tuned out.

Air injection into the exhaust manifolds. Probably the check valve. thats what justin said, check valve is like 5 bucks.
