After driving my car this past season ive noticed that the tires are rubbing the wheels wells at the top . Its only on the back. Also it seems lik the car sits a tad bit lower in the back to than other camaros ive seen around. I was just wondering what the issue could be, worn springs weak panhard bar etc. I put brand new comp drag shocks on because I wanted to change the shocks and thought that may be the problem. Anyways it didnt help or hurt the situation. I noticed my bumpstops were totally shot so I put in new energy suspension poly bumpstops and those SLP spacers. But that still doest solve the saggy back end problem. Let me know what you guys have done to fix this or what could be wrong. Im leaning to weak springs though?? I do have a brand new spohn adjustable phb waiting to to put on....

I was going to say shocks, but you said you replaced them. That would have been my guess. btw your title of the thread had me debating if I wanted to click it...lol

If I am correct, I believe SHOCKS only handle the rebound/dampening aspect of suspension, its the springs that adjust ride height....

For a cheap fix, do what I did, pull the rear springs, clean up the bottom coil and slide some heater hose on the first revolution... lube up the "pedestals" that the springs rest on.... it will lift your ass end... gave me almost 3/4" over my saggy rear....

Yeah im leaning toward springs to that rubber hose idea doesnt sound bad, I might give that a try as a temp solution. Now the questions is what spring can I buy to stiffen up the rear end but not lower the car, Or should I just go with stockers?

If you go to a hot rod shop, springs can be ordered by weight .. i believe. try the hose tho, its a workout so lube it up well... but Im so happy with mine....

It's most likely the springs. I had that same problem not too long ago, put in a new set of springs, and problem solved.

my rear springs have been set up that way for 3 yrs and counting,,so it doesnt have to be temp..its a very common mod with these cars

Those should be a big help! A buddy of mine had a seriously saggy rear and he was told that its from normal wear with some heavy acceleration causing the rear to 'squat' in point the springs begin to sit down a little.
