Alright guys I'm gonna be purchasing some new wheels here soon and I have it down to two finalists. I'm leaning toward the forgelines but reaper has been urging me to go with the crays so I thought I would get a public opinion

First the subject the wheels will go on

for more details see my sig

and the two wheel choices

Crays (I think the black with chome lip would look good on my black car)

Forgelines (lighter and wider than the cray's, also something not everyone has <meaning a 5-spoke>)
edit:forgelines are 18x10 and 17x9.5

I hear ya. When I first got under the hood of my car it was cause the water pump went out and with 60k on the clock I decided to just change the Opti for a new one. I was dreading doing it but it actually went pretty easy and I thought maybe everyones kinda making a mountain out of a molehill. . . . then I did the longtubes :rolleyes::cry:

My opinion... if you're gonna drop the coin on something like Forgelines, get something that looks really good. Fikse FM5's look killer. Same with CCW SP500, 505A or others. All CCW's pretty much look great...

I think the SP18's would look sick.

I got an e-mail today and LG Motorsports is having a sale on Forgelines. 20% off. Might want to give them a call.

Thanks guys :) but if I decide to do the forgelines I'm buying them used but in perfect shape with new rubber for less than a new set of wheels . . . even at 20% off . . .

and I knew Reaper would try to convince me . . . I'm still on the fence tho, those CCW's do look killer :hmm:

Exactly why I bought an LT1 Trans Am . . . I coulda got an LS1 but everyone runs an LSmotor and personaley I think the LT Trans Ams look better. Get that thing outa the garage next spring man, maybe we can get some of the other QC area guys together for a little fun :metal:

Sadly enough my car is going to get put away for the winter tomorrow , I'm trying to buy a house, but right now I don't have a garage to work on the car in. I just store it in my grandmas garage over the winter. So it won't be till spring probably when the wheels would get mounted . . . So I'm sad to say no pics in the near future
