So I found a WS6 to replace my old TA. AND it's SOM!

I'm sure yall remember my old 97 that I swapped an LS1 into, and then 4 days before I left for USAF Basic Training, it got totalled by an old ass lady.

Well. I finally found a car that will rightfully replace it. I was very picky on the car that would replace it. I decided on an 01-02 White or SOM WS6 6-speed. I eventually said I HAVE to have a SOM WS6 with ebony interior. I ran across one with the rare ebony/tan interior. I didn't want tan at all, but the ebony/tan combo is very appealing on a SOM car. I couldn't do a full tan interior. The owner say its 1 of 35 like this. Anywho onto details. 90k miles, Eibach Pro kit, 18" C5 Z06's, SLP Loudmouth, and Hurst. The "Hurst" looks like a Pro 5.0 really, but the owner can't confirm. Also with TCS and 10disc changer. Stock motor and trans, even down to stock lid.

I still own my wrecked 97 and everything in it. So my plans for the car will be to swap my old motor and transmission into the car and sell the stock motor/trans from this car. My motor that went into my 97 is already cammed, tuned, and fresh, so the 90k miles on this car doesn't scare me. It's gonna sound great cammin thru some longtubes and a Loudmouth. Also I will swap out the Pro Kit for the Hotchkis springs I own (I prefer the Hotchkis ride height).. On to the pics.

I'd say in this last pic it looks like a Pro 5.0 shifter....

easy to tell.. pull the boot down on the shifter and if it is a golden/brass it is the pro 5.0

you ought to be able to sell the stocker LS1 for a good chunk of change along with some of the parts off your old car (that WS6 airbox alone will fetch $150-$200 by ltself)
