Will a 98 V6 firebird tranny fit on a 97 v6 firebird ...? Simple question...

I pretty sure the t56 on the ls1 and lt1 are different. let me see if I can find the site I was using to see the parts that will interchange with v6's.

thanks for the replym, but im looking into swaping a Transmission from a 98 V6 firebird into a 97 V6 firebird.

If they are both 3.8s than yes it should work. the block is the same.
