Hey guys! What would be the best stall speed for my modded LT1? It's going to be for the street and I wan't something that will get me off the line better. I'm putting down about 300-350 hp (i think) range but I'm not sure where cause I haven't dynoed the car. I'm going to install some 3.73 gears with the along with a shift kit. Any help appreciated.

Has much been done to your car? The stall will depend on cam and power adder if you want to add nitrous. But I think a good 3600-4000 stall is drivable with the 4L60E. With a lock up converter you won't have any problems cruising down the highway.

3200
3600
either of them will be very good for any Lt1. most Lt1s that have just bolt ons work very well with a 3600 and if you decide to add cam and heads you already have enough converter........3600 overall is the best in my experience

Don't go too small or you'll regret it. I have a 3000 stall and wish I would have went bigger. . I'd recommend around 3600-3800.
