A little history, I had a 94 vortech'd Z28 that was sadly destroyed in a wildfire while I was deployed with the military, I bought a 2000 SS (mostly stock) and like it but haven't been into racing it much. So I picked up a cheap LT powered beater (aka the RaceCar or FrankenZtein!!!). It's a 97 chassis with a 94 motor and 93 ECU and painless harness. The car was thrown together by the PO and runs fine. I've been addressing a few things though like the dash. It has a newer mystery cluster (94+ Z) and only the fuel level works, the oil pressure seems to read in reverse and no speedo/tach/coolant info at all. Would swapping in a 93 Dash fix my problems? Also the way the fans are wired to a switch. Meaning, to turn them on/off you MUST use the switch. No therm/ecu control at all. I'd like to fix that as well and any insight on the 93 control would be appreciated. I'm sure I'll come with more questions but will start with the biggies first. Thanks...

Yeah, I have a hardwired fan switch as well. Only other way they'll turn on is if defrost is at full blast. My buddy did it though, and it melted some of the connections and now is FUBAR and I can't figure out how the hell he wired it..

Sorry I can't help, just thought I'd jump on board with the same problem.
