question in the title. just wondering if there are any out there because i need to change my rear gear ratio and advance timing a little.

not that i know of you cheap bastard lol...worst off you could find a local guy with tuner cat..what you are wanting is easy to do

i know, that's why i don't want to buy a program to do something that minor. i would like to tune more, but i'm more scared to mess something up than i am brave enough to try. LOL :drool:

lol its not too bad man...all you need is a little common sense and do little by little and not go overboard and start changing a bunch of stuff at once...who would do that:innocent:lol but it isnt difficult and really pays off in the end especially when you get to adding stuff to your car. you can do so much to the tune and actually make big improvements on power,driveability,and gas mileage.plus i noticed on ls1tech, there are a few guys selling everything you need to tune, with used prices.

plus you can play with your buddies cars if they have the same puter too lol. maybe even start making your money back.;)

well, i just bought a cable, waiting for it to come in mail. got it used off of ls1lt1, guy said he used it on lt1edit. so i think I'm going to buy that one, what all do I have to buy to program a 94Z?

i personally am using tunercat dont know much about edit but i am sure it is similar.one problem i ran into was i ordered my cable thinking i had the right style connectr on my laptop and ended up having to buy a serial to usb connector to plug it in to my laptop.

he said it was a obd1 to usb cable, so all i should need is the drivers.
