Me vs Challenger SRT-8

Ran into a Challenger SRT-8 on my way home from the track one night, i was minding my own business in 6th gear, when he downshifts and does a pull ... ignored him until i see his girlfriend chuckling in the passenger seat.

I turn off my A/C put my windows down. Get next to him ... Give him a nod and off he goes... we were doing about 50 at this point. By 70 i had a car on him, by 100 he was about 2 cars behind me and i let off...

$45,000 of worthless sheet-metal and plastic.

What mods are on your car? To be pulling on a high 12 car you must have something done for sure...

Challerger SRT-8's are mid 12 second cars?? :confused: I have eaten a few and i am a low 13. All the test data i saw on the srt-8 were mid - to high 13's, with a few low 13's (good driver i guess). IMHO they are over price MOPAR pigs. Guaranteed to possibly get you off the lot before they go out of business.. OOOPPSS they already did.. LOL

I figured something that dyno'd about 350 to the wheels SHOULD be able to at least break 12's :( haha.

Too bad they made them weigh so much. That sounds like a waste of a powerplant.

most of them that iv seen are mid top low 13's in the auto and the manual doesnt help. there very heavy. nice to look at and i wouldnt turn one away ofcourse id trade it in on a gcsrt8. lol
