So I finally got around to putting on the N.O. 58mm plate along with my professional products throttle body. So I put the plate on and then try to line up the holes for the t/b but its not lining up. Its looks like the iac housing is hitting the thermastat cover. I went and did some searching and on nitrous outlet site it says will not work with summit brand t/b's. Well I consulted with a friend of mine and he said that summit owned professional products?. Either way the combo doesnt work well with each other. Anybody else have this problem?. I guess i need to find another t/b?

had this same issue with a friends bbk t/b and a nx plate. we had to massage the iac housing and the thermostat housing abit with a grinder to make it fit.

This is very common situation with every LT1 nitrous plate on the market. We don't know what the exact reason is but the Summit TB does seem to have the biggest issue.

what did you do about the throttle bracket to make sure the t/b will close 100%?

Had to to the same thing with my BBK 58mm. The only TB that I'm aware of that doesn't seem to have fitment issues is the AS&M TB.

So where did you guys have to grind? I'm running into the same problem with my Holley TB. Looks like it is just the IAC hitting the housing.

I had to grind on both the IAC housing and the waterpump neck...I did most of my grinding on the neck since the IAC is very thin...in fact I went thru and had to repair it.
Not that bad to grind just grind a little at a time and keep checking the fit.

A little update, finally got my plate on. Just did some grinding on the IAC in a few places and it fit like a charm. I didn't have to take much off either. Looks killer :)

I had to take some off the IAC housing and a little from the thermostat neck for my BBK TB.
