Most just use the PE table for WOT tuning, but there are other ways as well.

From what I understand using the PE table is not the proper way to tune and is considered a hack job, by good tuners. Although its how most tuners used to do it.
Im no tuner by any means but have been speaking with a bunch of them lately, and thats the general consensis.

A good tuner definitely will not just fudge the PE table, and there is more than one way to skin this cat. I tend to use the VE and MAF tables more than anything. Every tuner has their own way of going about it.
PE table tuning is the quickest, easiest way to get it done, which is why alot of tuners still use it. Time is money!
