Is this a good motor/price to haggle for?

Hey guys. I ran across this in the classifieds section of another forum and was wondering what everyone thought of it. I would love to build my own motor, but I don't have the budget for it right now. Would this be a worth-while investment? Or does the price seem out of line? Thanks for your input!

i picked mine up with 1k on it and it was a complete motor with a vigilante 3400 stall. i only paid 2300 for it. its basically the exact same setup besides a cc306 cam and srp forged pistons. how many miles are on it?

thats cheap isnt it, the heads alone are about 1350 plus 250 fo rthe cam, then stroker kit is around 1500, machine work and all the rest of the stuff equals more than 3000

i think he said around 10k miles. i would have the motor gone over before installing it.

i got mine off ebay. i normally dont buy motors from ebay but the guy took pictures of each cylinder and stripped the motor down for me for pics. and i got it and its a damn good motor. cant wait for it to run. with it comeing with bigger injectors, aftermarket FPR, 3400 stall and flexplate, and p&p heads mine was a steal lol
