i keep getting left out

so on when we meet up no one ever seems to want some of the Lt1. its a group a modded imports (modded evo, modded wrx, turbo this, turbo that blah blah blah), mustangs and even an Ls1 ss who usually break off and go out. all of them 13.x cars but for some reason none of seem to want to any of the LT1? didnt know if anyone ever had this "problem". i even called out one of the mustangs (a 5.4 swap, who couldnt race that week because of a radiator leak) then the following week when they went out he saw me 3 times and said nothing about it. i can only think of 2 reasons, they're scared or they under estimate.

i have the reverse problem. everyone calls me out at local meets. i dont want to race with a stock tune on 3.42 and put out a bad name for H/C/I lt1s so i just dont race

I raced a few times in my town but had my ass handed to me ppl hiding bottles or not popping hoods let's pick on the hotcam car . Grrrrr I want a turbo lol

No one is scared of LT1s. Especially mostly stock ones. They're turds.

Oh blah, just do it. It's all about fun. Who cares if you get beat? Racing sucks if it's one-sided and you only race what you know you can win. :devil:

Down here when i first bought my 97Z it was pro-charged P1SC inter cooled putting down around 420whp @ 12psi. I went out to county line dragway and outside of the track ran into a group of 5.slowstangs...

We talked for a while and long story short... one of the guys said... "ohh i eat blown lt1s for breakfast" so i called him out ...i might have lied about my boost, i told him i was doing 6lbs... regardless i pulled his H/C 5.0 by like 20 greyhound buses. :laugh:

Down here the only people who underestimate LT1s are LS1 owners...

i do have problems getting true race..either they are way out of my class or they have to get their best friends cousins neighbor that has an uncle with a brother in law that thinks his buddy still has a fast car!

out here bolt on for bolt on i have raised many an eyebrow with our Ls1 buddies that have labeled my lil ol Lt1 a "FREAK MOTOR":rolleyes: never get props for a properly tuned car with complimenting bolt ons and 118k:hail:

ummmm i get some races, but its like cars that want race me, i tell them im mostly stock and they are like oh well lets race and they have like over a grand in the car and all i have spent is 120 bucks so far.lol im like where is the fun in that for you?

well thats cool, to see that you are not totally like beating down on the dont race thing. but thats cool because some ppl can get a little crazy with the whole racing thing as far as the streetz go. some ppl really dont care, traffic or not.

No one ever races me either. Though Sabaktes picks up races all the time, and my car is waaaayyy faster than his! It just doesn't look as fancy I guess.
