Mickey Thompson ET street radials, have a few friends using those and they like them

alot of people like Nittos... I've heard they are OK on the street but you really have to heat them good, but at the track they are garbage

M/T drag radials here too, love them. it seems like the harder you leave on them the better they hook.

hoosier drag radials are another good option if u dont do as much or any street driving on them

I've always seen great numbers out of the BFG DR.

BFG or MT for purely track. Nittos aren't going to hook as good but if your gonna run the DR's on the street Nittos will last quite a bit longer than BFG or MT. Since I don't want to blow my 10bolt, I'll stick to nittos. I'm on street tires right now because when it came to buy tires I didn't have a DD.

How long do nittos last on the road?

How long do nittos last on the road?

I have got a friend that runs them. He puts a new set on at the beginning of every season. He gets that year out of them by not doing donuts/burnouts for any reason. He abuses them at the track and when he wants to street race on them. If you keep the showing off to a minimum, I would imagine you could expect the same, possibly more.

BTW, I had BFG drag radials on my car for a while. They do hook pretty good, but they abosolutely SUCK in even a light rain. I imagine they all are pretty slippery in heavy rain, but my BFGs got really slick even when the road was just wet.

Nittos aren't quite as good as street tires, but they're muuuuuch better than other DR's (in terms of tread life)

I have run BFG DR and have had good luck with them. I have MT now on my Draglite's I can't wait to try them at the track.

The ET work really well, I'm getting some 315 BFGs here in a few weeks on the new wheels going on the TA. I have had Nittos before, curious to see how well the BFG work in comparison.

I would suggest ET street radials as well. Im running ET streets, but they are more of a slick and i wouldnt use them on the road.

Id go with the M/T Drag Radials unless your going to be driving the car on the street a lot with those tires because they wear out quick. If your driving it on the street a lot id say go with the BFG Radials.

Quick question. Theres 2 versions of the ET Street Radials on M/T's website. Which one are you guys running? I want some sticky tires, but it's a daily driver means I can't worry about rain. I think I will be going with some 275 Kumho MXs.

I use the Nitto's on the DD (got them cheap). I'm going to get a set of the MT's for strictly track use on both cars. The Nitto's have performed very well for me on the street and track. I just don't like how narrow the 275/40/17's look on the back compared to the BFG KD's on the front.

Nitto 315/35/17s looks great and doesnt rub anything on my car.

Ive had BFGs and nittos. I prefer the Nitto's by a longshot!! Much better on the street, last longer and hooks just fine at 18psi and a big burn out.

The MTs hook great but dont last and arnt a great DD tire unless you have cash to burn. If its 95% track car the MT DRs are supossed to be superior on the track.
