Take that stereo stuff out. Shed some other unwanted/needed weight. You can easily strip 100lbs off if you need to, and put it back in the following day.

If you want to go a little more hardcore, you could take off 200-250lbs in a day, but it ain't easy to put some of the stuff back in, and the car isn't as safe. It will involve removing a lot of safety equipment such as bumper supports and such.

But you WILL run 12's lol.

Loose the front sway bar, spare tire and jack, stero (if you've got subs and a box) and the unneeded crap from the glove box and console. The first time I launched on my ET Streets my subs slid back and hit the rear window (my box was sitting behind the rear seat so I could still ues the t-top holders). Luckly the window didn't break, also the garage door opened flew off the visor and hit my helmet when I hit 2nd gear, it scared the shit out of me! With good air and traction you should pull off a 12 second pass. Good luck!
