Yeah, I got started at age 18 and never slowed down. I traded up on few and then sold one to buy a house, then bought a few, made some repairs and then sold them to fund my bolt on ambition. I'm now modding my 9th one, but it's a convertible(heavy), so it's gonna get some juice and a few more things but won't be my track car. I'm in the process of getting number 10.

Two. A Black 93 Trans Am and a Purple Pearl 93 Trans Am.

The black car was a bolt on only car at first, made it to 13.009@106.98 on a crappy short time thanks to Nitto DR's. In went a set of Joe Prince heads and a 224/230 on a 112*, made 375/363 on it's first dyno pull running a tad lean up top. Next run it detonated, and the oil burning issue started. Thought it was the shortblock, pulled it, put in a new one with a Joe O custom cam. Same issue. Through tinkering got ONE good half tuned 2nd gear pull and pooped myself. But, never ran right completely. Pulled the motor, and after a year of mulling, sold the car to help finance the turbo's on my Vette. After the fact we pinpointed the oil seepage/burning and vacuum issue to head porting that broke through to the rocker stud bosses. Simplest fix in the world yet never figured it out: Put sealant on the rocker studs. :( It's a shame, and I'm a little pissed at this point, but hindsight is always 20/20.

So the Purple Pearl T/A has the black cars motor, now as a 383 with big dog parts on/in it, waiting to go in.
