ok so i got a problem, i got a A4 TA mods are CC503 and all the supporting mods EXCEPT the torque converter its got the stock on in there now.. and i have to drive it to the local mechanic shop for my uncle to look at it. can it be driven with the stock one?

I wouldn't see why not, your just going get more out of the cam with a stall. Thats at least what I would think, but I'd wait for someone else to chime in.

you will get more out of it with a stall, et wise. and if its causing cam surge, a stall will help with driveability(plus a tune). But if it idles fine and its not causing a stumble in low rpms. a stock stall will be just fine!
