Tonight me and my cousin both had are car's out, and we decided to mess around again. Last time we did I pulled on him up top but his car was way out of tune and leaning out VERY bad.

His fox is T56 swapped, 4.11 gear,Cam(E or B cam he's told me and I forget),Edelbrock Intake, D1SC Procharger pushing 16-17 PSI, Headers. He's also on street tires.

Anyways we did a couple run's tonight just for fun,

First run, 40 punch:

He jumps out on me and slowly starts pulling until the top of 5th where I have RPM on him.


VERY Close race, next Spring when he's on tire were gonna run again....but I believe the BeaSSt is now in Hibernation for the winter :(

Nice runs. I am sure your car moves out... but I am thoroughly unimpressed by the fox. That much boost with a cammed fbody should move out quite a bit better than a cammed fbody. Also, why the heck he is on street tires is beyond me.:shame:

Hes on street tires because just incase he is ever out in the car and it rains. He has some slicks but thy are showing cord. Next spring if I keep my car were gonna go from a dig.

has he had a tune (dialed in at the track or on the dyno)? I would think his car should be trapping 125-130mph.

Yeah dyno tuned 409 to the wheels

:hmm: Numbers don't seem quite right to me... now I can understand why the runs went the way they did.

Friend of mine has a fox.... pushing 15 lbs of boost....(although his motor is completly "DONE") he is making 550 at the wheels..... IDK...

with that kind of boost he should be making a whole hell of a lot more power then that. my guess would be 550 to 580 at the wheels. but i dont know much about FORD.

There heads don't flow worth a shit....The top Aftermarket heads don't flow even as well as the 241 LS1 heads

Let's knock the LSX stuff out of the conversation for a minute. I know plenty of stock bottom end heads/cam foxbodies make ~300rwhp. Your buddy has a similar setup, but with a blower and lots of boost. He should be making ~15rwhp per psi.

He is on stock heads and a really small cam. 100% stock motor besides the cam and Intake Manifold. The only other thing that's on it is a D1sc blower pushing 16psi. On a 140K motor.......

His old set up witch was the same cam, Roush Stage...3? heads and a stock bottom end on 13 psi made 470 to the wheels. Heads make a hell of a difference.

Stock heads will hurt for sure.
