I was wondering if there were any good user friendly tuning programs for the LT1 motors? I'm looking for something I could plug into the diagnostic port i guess and monitor things on my laptop and be able to change stuff? I'm not sure whether or not they make anything like this or how tuning even works for these cars. I've always heard ppl going to professional tuners to get work done, but i think it would be something fun to learn to do yourself. If you have any experience with any programs or anything that you liked please share! If it matters when I run the diagnostic i run my car as a 95 year. its an OBD1 computer with and OBDII connector.

Wow, you didn't even try to find the info did you?

It's a very popular subject and you should have no trouble at least getting everything together with the following info (learning how to tune effectively is an entirely different level of information). Your programming options are TunerCat and LT1_Edit. You will need an interface cable and there are a few options there. One of the more popular ones is AKM Cables. Logging with TTS DataMaster or FreeScan.
