i think its all attached to a guide on the cam,,so the cam pushes open and pulls it closed,,at least thats the way i took it

From what I can see that is exactly how it works. I just thought it would be cool to throw this out there and see what everyone thinks.

Hmmm, makes lots of noise and would probably require a fair bit of maintenance. You'd never have to worry about floating a valve though!!! Hmmm, wonder what banging gears at 10k rpm would be like.

It would definitely quiet down a bit...but it would still make more noise than a normal sprung valve setup.
