I have a 2 stage Nos plate kit sitting here that I bought for another project that is going turbo instead. So, I've decided to install it in my 95 z instead.
It's a carb style plate kit so I plan to either get a throttle body plate or a couple fogger nozzles.
Also have an MSD 6al box and everything I need to pull timing automatically when I trigger the spray.
For now I'll probably run 75-100 on the first stage and 150-175 on the second ( not stacked, first stage will shut down when second activates) until I get around to building a real bottom end for it.
So, is there a throttle body plate for 2 stage kits available?
If I tap off schrader valve on fuel rail will that provide me with enough flow for the bigger shot or do I need something more involved?
I'm guessing a stock fuel pump won't cut it, I already have a hot cam/ ported heads. What pump would you guys recommend? Walboro 255 be enough?

Any other thoughts or ideas? Am I missing anything? Already have a fpss, purge, bottle warmer and whatnot. Not new to nitrous, just new to nitrous on an lt1 ;)

If your only going with a 150 or 175 shot I would use 1 stage. I spray a 150 @ 1800 rpm. right out of the hole. My mallory 685 pulls timing when the nitrous is activated at 1800 rpm. What kind of power are you making with the hotcam and ported heads?

My eventual plan is a forged bottom end and a 250-300 shot. Figure I'll set of up once and keep the little jets in it. That and I already have traction issues so I'm thinking a smaller shot out if the hole will help me there LOL.

Never had the car on a dyno so I don't know for sure what it's making. From what I've read and how it feels I'd guess 375ish at the flywheel?

The Walbro 255 and Racetronix Hotwire Harness are supposed to support 600-630hp. That may be enough to feed the engine and nitrous.

What would be the next step up from a walboro if I wanted to spend the extra and get it over with?
After the current bottom end gives up I'm planning on a forged 383 so I'd rather not have to drop the tank more than once LOL.

Well.......

I wound up changing my plans for that build and sold it. Fiancé talked me into using the 6.0 ls1 we have sitting here instead.
This car came with the hotcam and I loved it so much that I originally bought yours to do it again LOL.

I think turning one kit off and another on may upset the suspension. I would just run one stage for now. Or if you want to run two stages put 75 hp in each stage and keep adding to the second stage until you reach your limit.

A dual intank walbro setup. Will support 800-1000hp and its quiet. You can have one pump for motor and when you arm your n2o your second pump will come on.

I said it that way because that's how the instructions for the kit say to wire it up. Seemed a little odd to me as well but I wasn't going to reengineer the wheel unless there really is a better way

Do you use the same feed line or run a separate one for the nitrous? How much power will the factory fuel feed line support?
