mine is a song by Beyonce: If i were a boy ft:R Kelly

it takes me back to Feb 24th 2009 after a year and a half of being broken up and,fighting, tears, and love i rode my bike up to my Ex girlfriends one cold day she said she wanted to be the one and she wanted me to be her one and only, a month after she broke up with the guy she started dating a few months after me. i remember waking up the next morning looking at her sleeping, and this song came on (the words mean nothing its just the sound of it that sends shivers down my back) then waking her up and talking before i rode back (2 hrs) to my home town... same day i got a ticket that cost me my license for 6 months... its in that very moment, looking at her, this song playing... that i was happier than i have ever been...

we still talk but never got together and after that day didn't speak again until about a month ago :( man i miss that girl.

i have a lot of songs that take me back to a certain time period in my life and flash certain places and times into my head when they come up on my I pod, but this one song hits a day, time, and second that i remember like it was yesterday.

Lightning Crashes by Live. Right after the OKC bombing someone remixed it with sounds and quotes of the people involved with the bombing.

Today by Smashing Pumkins. It was played at my highschool graduation.

Sister by The Nixons. Several years ago things were very tense with my family. My sister and I were very close and she lived about 9 hours away. When I heard this song I felt like it brought us back together for a few minutes.
