Get a hold of jakesz28 on here. He has detailed instructions on his website and he's a paying sponsor of this site. We should support the guys and gals that help to pay the bills around here.

Is there an easy way to make the abs inop light go out? Or do I just pull the cluster and disable the bulb?

Pulling the cluster and pulling the bulb would probably be the easiest and cheapest way.

If you have tunercats you can turn it off or pull the bulb.

Where in t/c is this function? I looked in the switch table and didnt see it in there.

Your right. My mistake. I just double checked and I don't see it.

How do you pull the cluster? I've got a newer cluster to replace my factory cluster, and I've got no clue what to remove(switch from 110mph-150mph.)

just take off the bezel on the dash, and unplug it from the harness and there is like 4-6 bolts i believe holding it in

Bezel...which piece of plastic is that? So, I dont have to remove the a-pillar and the panel under the steering wheel?

no just the piece of plastic in front of you in the drivers seat thats straight ahead on the dash, the one that goes over the gauges

Ah, ok. How would I go about removing that piece? I've had the lower section of the dash/radio area, apart before, but nothing else dash related.

extra weight or it just doesn't work.

I personally hate the way abs feels and mine didn't work anyways so I deleted it

One reason is to get it all out of the engine bay, makes more room and a cleaner look.

That and if you autocross or roadrace you can get better times without it.

And if you've ever tried to stop hard in the rain, snow, or gravel/sand, you'd understand why

I had a wreck in my 97 Z28 that could have been avoided if I DIDNT have ABS.

ALL it does is stops your tires from locking up when you slam on the brakes...in a situation where you are not on ice, or when you have a bit of room its cool...BUT...in an emergency situation where you need to stop fast it doesnt let you and you dont slow down very much at all...I hate it to be honest. Plus as they said, It loses between 10 and 17 lbs from the front of the car and cleans up the engine bay.

The only time you will notice it in a DD is if you slam on the brakes. I went ahead and disabled mine by unplugging it so that I could get used to it now that way if for some reason I DIDNT like it I could just plug it back in and change my mind.......So far no issues and I love it and I have had to slam on the brakes a few times. No wrecks yet. (knocks on wood)
