Hey guys, got a problem here, looking for some help. So here is the rundown...

Got some new Rockers/pushrods/injectors/cam/valve springs. Installed them as done by a chitlton book in exact OEM specs, but adjusting the valves the way comp cams advises you to. Timing verified/sping lash verified twice.

Sent PCM to be Re-Programed to handle the cam/injectors. Got it back, fired up the car. Idled smooth, sounded great when reved up a bit, but once i took it for a drive, even under very partial throttle(25-40%) it would not want to go, sound as it wa backfiring, poping, odd. Just didn't sound/feel like it was getting timing or enough fuel.

I then rechecked valve clearance again, to no avail. I started it after rechecking Valve clearance and it seemed to miss. Shut it off, to a peek to make sure all plug wires were on, the turned it over agin. No start.....

So, I have spark, I have fuel, I have injectors pulse, on ALL cylinders. I have good fuel pressure. Showing MAP/MAF signals just fine. It seemed to backfire/pop out the exhaust when turning it over also.

So I went back to a stock PCM, Therfor going back to the stock injectors, Still no start. BUT, it will not Pop/Backfire out the exhaust anymore???? Seems to turn over fine, just not fire. I still have good spark/fuel Pressure and pulse on Injectors.

I'm Lost. Any Input will help.

BTW. This is a 97 Camaro LT1- The Re-program was done by MADTUNER-Ion Soltan- Cam is from Forced Induction.

OK, Sounds like it is something mechanical since you swapped out the PCM's. I know you did it but as for now the only thing I can see is the valves being out of adjustment. Being that is the only thing you really messed with, Try bringing each cylinder to TDC, loosen the valve some and try to start it...
