This is why I am a car guy.
This is my fathers 1932 Ford 5 window all steel Henry Ford Deuce Coupe.
He has had this car since 1976 (longer than me) and from 76-96 it was a channeled, big block, 4 speed street rod. Then in 96 he decided he wanted more of a traditional ride so we put it back on the frame, ran full fenders, hood, and chopped the top 3 inches. This is the 1st car I ever really "built" this is the car I learned to fabricate on how to weld on and do body work on. Since 98 (when it was finished) it has had over 30K put on her and about 5 of those miles at the track 11.2@118 was the best with him driving. It runs a GM ZZ4 with dart heads and a holly 750 DP.
I'll dig out some more pics.
Just wanted to give you an idea of why I love this hobby so much.
