The car was fully loaded M6 94 Pontiac Formula, when I purchased the car in early 2002 it had 54K miles on it. It was being used for some spirited street driving a road racing. Here are a few pics of the car in its original form.

Mod list as purchased
GTP Stage 2 Heads
GTP #5 Cam 236/242 .568/.568 110lsa
BBK Shorty Headers
Borla Cat-Back
BBK 58mm TB
NOS Wet kit jetted for 75 HP
Full Hotchkis Road Race suspension, Baer Brakes, Custom LCA's
In this trim it ran a best of 12.1 @ 120mph on a (2.0 60')
Since I was using the car for mainly drag raceing I started making a few changes to the car. I started in on the suspension to help with getting the 60' times down, when I had to rebuild the shortblock due to scoring of the #2 cylinder. Not real sure what the cause was as the pistons/rings were still in good shape. So as I am never one to replace a broken part with a stock part, on came the 396cid stroker motor. The shortblock was then stuffed with all forged internals and custom Ross pistons. We went with a sleeper cam (222/228 .544/.538 112lsa) as the car was still a daily driver. Swapped the shorties for a set of Jet-Hot 1 3/4" long tubes and switched to the NX MAF kit.

With this combo the car dyno'd 422rwhp and 447rwtq NA and 566rwhp/604rwtq on a 150 shot. I had a little fun around central texas with this setup as the small cam had very little lope and most of the local never expected an LT1 to be quick ;). About a year later I came across a very good deal on a built 700R4 and moser 12 bolt and they replaced the T56 and 10 bolt. Thes changes netted me an 11.6@116 (1.6) NA and a 10.98@127 (1.5) on the 150 Shot.

In 2006 the car was retired from daily driver duties and was able to switch to more of a drag setup. I pulled the baby cam out and replaced it with a 246/254 .613/.590 112lsa

this dropped the car to...
11.31@119(1.6) NA and

10.48@130 (1.4) on the same 150 shot.

Replaced the LT1 intake and heads with a set of AFR227's and an Edelbrock single plane. The custom sheet metal elbow is from 860 Performance.
