I finally took some time the last 2 weekends to wrap up some lose ends and update some things on the kit.

N.O 58mm plate kit with hardline upgrade
N.O purge
N.O noid bracket
MSD window ( in glove box )
Brand X / N.O tunnel mount and billet bracket
N.O heater
NOS filter
NX bottle gauge
braided blow down tube
N.O stand alone fuel system

The switch / gauge panel was made by my buddy Z8's.

We designed and had a friend cut the pod for the AEM wideband.

+ my sweet little Raptor shift light

I have to tweak the tune a touch Wed evening and will be testing Friday night starting with 100 shot. The plan is to go to a 200 Friday and if I get the suspension working I will hit it with 250-300 before the years up.

should be fun:devil:

what kind of cai setup you got going on?

Speed Inc.
09-16-2009, 07:08 PM
thanks guys

CAI is custom made over the radiator :)

NEW #'s

runs were done locked

NA

462/431

N20

525/512

nitrous graph looks a little odd due to the converter flashing then locking, unlocking and then locking again

yeh I know it's not the best to do, but I trust my Yank/FLT combo :)

We ran a real safe tune to just make sure it's working and did not pull it past 6600.

20-21 degrees of timing
11.3-11.5 A/F

I will work on the nitrous A/F at the track to get it in the 12.0-12.2 area.

this was on a 100 shot?

Speed Inc.

this was on a 100 shot?

actually 150 by the jets, but....

62/46 with 11psi v's the 10psi recommended which is the reason it's rich

950 bottle pressure

I discovered when purging the system down after closing the bottle it did not look clean. Then after taking my bottle out ( which was over 1 year old ) it was damn near out of spray and seems to have air. This was not expected since I had only made 2 quick test no more then first gear when I had the dry kit on the car.

bottle is getting fully emptied and filled tomorrow for testing Fri

I know the #'s are low on spray, but I was not looking for a big # and rather the A/F being o.k to start with. There is plenty of power to be gained once I work on the tune.

sorry..long 2 days at the track

very,very happy :)

I want to work some more on getting the most from the 150 shot both traction and tune wise and move from there.

I did not go over the plugs Fri, but got the A/F in the 11.8-12.2 area and I was very happy with the results for the 1st time out :)

1.36 60 ft ..still more in it
6.40 1/8
107 mph 1/8
10.09 ET
132.5 1/4 MPH

I plan to put a little more timing in it, play with shift points and keep working on the window switch to get it to 60ft harder...went 1.41 on HP the same night.

I was a little worried this night so I tightened things up after Z8s put his LS1 street car on the bumper. I drove the car to and from the track and wanted to make sure I could make it back the 1.5+ hr trip.

I have to getting a alternator issue sorted out here and be back at the track in a couple weeks.

Good job man!

Dude, I need to drop my car off, for more than just a tune. I cant figure out how to get my over-the-radiator setup, to work. I just cant get everything to work, w/o the tube rubbing on the radiator..Maybe I'll try a 3" pipe instead of a 3.5"...

thanks guys

Adam right? if so we can arrange for you to come out and take a look at my setup. The right bends and some trimming and it not a big deal.
