So i finally quit smoking

3 days now i have been tabacco less, And i haven't flew off the handle or been pissed yet. Maybe a little on edge but it is gettin better. My wife is also on her last pack as well. Just wanted to share since i am kinda proud of myself

congrats. keep it up. my dad quit smokin 2 years ago and bought a new harley with the money he was smokin with. the bike and insurance is cheaper than smokin.

I love telling people stupid statistics about smoking. A friend of mine that I used to work with smokes... He's been doing it for about 10 years, and we figured out how much he spent (not exact numbers) on cigs, and I told him he could have bought a clean C5 Z with all the money he threw out... Made him think as he put another cig in his mouth 10 seconds later. :laugh:

Dont give in. I'm an ass when it comes to family members smoking. All my uncles on my fathers side of the family (4 of them) smoke. Everytime I see them I throw away their cigarettes and give 'em a hard time. I'm an ass hole, but hey... I'm only trying to help. :D. CANT SMOKE IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY CIGS.!!!!

thats Awesome,,,, I was gona start the same thread a lil while ago , but thought it wouldnt go over. My girl and I are on our third week now after quitting COLD TURKEY.

I also had done the math and with both of us smoking 2 packs a day at almost 6 bucks a pack that was 24 dollars a day we saved. Over a year we would save 4400.00 each!!!! Thats right, $8,800.00 a YEAR on smokes!!!!!!

I quit today also. I bought a pack a few days ago and they went up to 6.51 a pack. Made that one last and now I am done. Wish you the best of luck with this.
