Looking for an LED conversion writeup for a 96 T/A. I want to convert my tails to LED's.

Are you planning on using bread board and making your own or purchasing prewired led lights?

Well Ill tell you what, I began the project and ordered 500 leds , 200 for each brake/tail and 100 each for a turn signal and after soldering about 50 I got pissed off and said I am not wasting to much time on this project anymore.

I would suggest to look at 4x4 led squares and then you can epoxy them into your housing and wire them. They normally already have the resistors you need wired in.


Other wise, I was going to run 4 in with 2 inputs through 2 different resistors

Dont order that 3rd brake light. It really only is for firebirds they dont wrap around top like transam lights do.

I wasted 60 bucks on a black one =/

Thanks! because I actually thought about ordering one of those, although i think a couple guys on LS1tech are happy with thiers, I don't know. I'll have to check into it.
