Me & my buddy were talking about this at the gym last night, kind of a interesting question that had me thinking for some time. The question was

"Could you kill someone?".... Simple question right? Yes or No? So think about that question, and post your thought's.

Question came up after we found out someone we went to school with killed a man just for the fuck of it.... and we both sat there and thought about how FUCKED that is. My buddy said the only way he could kill is if someone was trying to kill him or any member of his family, which I agree with.

Me....I said no, I could NEVER kill someone unless it was survival of the fittest (AKA War ect ect), or someone was trying to kill my loved one's. Now hurting said person until they wished they died? Yes... Ive thought about that on one certain person for some time, sound's demented but it's true.

Only out of necessity.

If self or someone was in danger of serious bodily injury or death.

In absolute "cold blood " you would have to be some psycho maniac that should not be amongst normal people! this type of person has deep rooted issues and cannot be intergrated with society.sorry there is NO rehab available for someone such as this.....
Now,in "self defense" i see absolutely nothing wrong with it however,it still takes quite a bit, to look that person in the eyes knowing it is about to be all over! morally, we really are not programmed to have this power although since the beginning of man we have adapted to this possible way of force to protect ourself or families from "IMMEDIATE" danger.
I do know of a few that have ended someones life in self defense and it does take its toll on the average person and the majority of them will look at you and tell you "it is not something you really want to do!" and each one has gone through counciling afterwards.

Could I yes...but It would take something really really bad for me to do it. I also deffinitly would never be able to chop someone up or some crazyness like that. I cant even watch the health channel when they do operations on people.

YES i can kill but never murder someone. like said already to protect my family, myself, or my car i would kill someone. I beleave strongly in my right to bear arms. If someone broke into my house and i felt my life was in danger I would be damn sure I was the first to shoot.

If some one broke into my house, I would most likely go all out on them.

Other then that, I couldnt just walk up to someone and kill them.... if thats what your friend did? :freak:

if my life was in danger or to protect my family, yes.

but to do it for random, F**K NO. I watch cold case files an other shows like that, and some people are wacked out of there mined, some guy chops ups a body and puts it in a rental truck in a freezer and leaves it plugged in outside of his house in the drive way, (true story) Id like to know what goes through their minds to do that kind of stuff.

if my self or someone else was in danger.

did you guys hear about the guy slapping the 2 year old 3 times in a walmart? the little girl was crying and the guy told the mother to shut her up or he would do it for her. then later he walked up and slapped the child 3 times in the face. he would be beaten to within an inch of his life if it was my child or pumbled really hard if i just witnessed it.

I would definitely shoot/stab someone -- and try not to kill them. That is, if their offense wasn't THAT bad. Rapists in general should die.. and I wouldn't make the first shot my kill shot. Still though, I might just shoot 'em in the dick and let the authorities deal with them.

Any good person that is being attacked, I would willingly kill for if the situation called for it.

If someone were to approach me with a gun and had it slapped against my forehead, I would find a way to stab them in their throat without a doubt.

Or if I were at war, but I'm not.

So Shane shall not be killing anybody, hopefully.

i could and would for a good reason, but it would have to be good... like if someone broke down my door while i was behind it with a gun yelling "stop i have a gun" my finger wouldnt flinch, i wouldnt think twice, once in my home they would have a fist sized hole in their head, if they have a weapon or newsletter... you break in my space you arent gonna leave. if someone hurt my family or even killed a family member and i had a chance to kill them i wouldnt... i would brutally torture them until they were almost dead, rush them to the ER wait for them to get well and suffer through pain for a few weeks, then i would do the chinese trick and sword slice them to death... not deep enough to kill but just enough to slowly bleed to death... then i would explain the story in the state penn for the rest of my life so no one would mess with me. so am i demented? no... i love my family, and i would do anything for even the ones who hate me... i could kill and/or torture...

Anyone being in the military, or law enforcement must already acknowledge they can before they ever go into the profession in the first place.

not sure, but if my life or family/loved ones are threatened. you better run like hades is chasing you, because i will not give up!

if my son is ever harmed by someone, i pity what befalls them, as i do not know what i would do to them. when it comes to my son and family belive me i will not allow anything to harm them! if they do as i said i pity what befals them, i will do what i have to!

all this said, i am not married, i have a son from a previous girlfriend who we gave up to a open adoption. i see him three times a year, and love him dearly. i would lose my mind if i lost him. its hard to explain the love a father.

Of course any one would in self defense, chances are you would still feel like shit afterwards for having to do it. You get a lot of guys in the Military who get messed up from it, imagine the same goes for cops and they are put in situations where they have to. Only two types of people can do it with out thinking about it, the first is obvious, nut cases, no explanation needed. The second is people who are brought up with a ghetto mentality. Those guys live for right then and now, what it takes for them to survive, nothing else matters. Thats the same type of mentality it takes to make it in prison as well, a lot of people on death row arent sqeaky clean. They usually have a lot of past offenses.

Most civilieans say that... unfortunatly... the second you pull that trigger or burry that knife... you ARE trying (ATTEMPT) to kill.
